Attorney Michael J. A. Pasquinelli
graduated with a B. A. in Economics from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison in 1995, and, upon graduation, began working
for a real estate development company. Mr. Pasquinelli started
his own development company in 1998, and built single-family
homes for families in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
From 2001-2004, Michael attended the John Marshall Law School in
Chicago, and achieved academic honors. While in Law School,
Michael was placed on the Deans List, graded on to the John
Marshall Law Review, and graduated Cum Laude. Further, in his
last year of schooling, Michael clerked for the Cook County
State’s Attorney’s Narcotics Prosecution Bureau and gained hands
on trial experience litigating felony narcotics cases.
After graduation, Michael accepted an appointment as an
Assistant State’s Attorney in Cook County and practiced in the
Appellate and Criminal Trial Divisions of the office.
In the Appeals Division, Michael handled complex criminal and
civil appellate matters for the State and had the privilege to
argue before the Illinois Supreme Court. After Appeals, Michael
was transferred to the trial division and gained valuable
experience – prosecuting hundreds of DUI, summary suspension,
traffic and other criminal matters.
In 2008, Michael Pasquinelli entered private practice and
uses his acquired trial and writing skills to zealously advocate
the rights and interests of his clients. |
